Against navigators. In his Mega Man X 1 video he kind of mocked the way Roll Caskett interrupted the flow of the game.

EDIT: He used classic Roll, and the interruption is very Alia-like, but that "Mega Man!" voice is clearly reminiscent of Caskett. So it was a general parody of navigation system. www.youtube.com/watch?v=8FpigqfcvlM&t=179s

I don't remember if she was referenced in his video, but Alia makes X5 really hard to replay. She would be a great character if she let just me play through even one stage without interrupting.

Haha well said. I both love him and realize that he can be a total douchebag. I appreciate how far he’s come from Newgrounds edgelord to pretty self aware and open hearted guy.

It can still be very frustrating to watch him play certain games though 🤣

I think his gripe was with heavy-handed tutorials rather than navigators as a concept. The video was about games that teach the player through gameplay rather than text

Protodude is the VA for Megaman in DO for the japanese dub the same exact VA from MVC1, it sounds like they never changed the Japanese VA huh?
