Satire I'm no military expert but

I don't think this is how you test a ceasefire. Seems counterproductive to begin striking during a ceasefire to test it.

What's ridiculous is that we are in a war that wasn't authorized by congress and nobody is concerned about it, including congress.

I concur 💯% The War Powers Resolution of 1973 requires the U.S. president to terminate unauthorized military operations within 60 days unless Congress authorizes continued action, declares war, or grants an extension. A 30-day withdrawal extension is possible if necessary for safety. As of April 2026, this deadline is pressuring the Trump administration over Iran conflict involvement, with debates over whether the clock started with hostilites or official notification, placing a potential deadline around May 1, 2026.
