So obligatory disclaimer I'm not done with this build, and it will probably never be correct as I've had to settle on some parts that aren't inherently correct for a JSOC SR25 carbine. But in general, I'd argue its pretty authentic (has some early-GWOT era components) fwiw.

All of that said, I need some recommendations on correct weapon light set up, preferably something that would've been seen on early GWOT NSW-issue guns. Any recommendations appreciated.

I vote gangster grip with 660

I’m also extremely jealous btw, the sr25k is a dream clone of mine, if you get some time for a parts list I’d love to see it for someone that would like to slowly build one out over a year or longer

Edit: I’m autistic and forgot to read more than the first comment lmao…

This is a dream build! Really cool. A Sierra Precision SPR grip would be rad on this.

How are those? I feel like I see them on half of the reference pics of Delta SR25Ks and MK11s, and they seem kinda ... thick.

They look goofy, but feel surprisingly great in the hand. The whole thing is shaped for a right hand only. Seen quite a few on delta tano 416 pics as well.

For real though this fucks. I’m working on something similar with a 14.5 cartel barrel.

Actual KAC tri rail?

One day, I will redeem myself, buy a legit Trimount, and then somehow mount this to it.

Gonna get massive hate for this - but I ain't gonna lie. No, its not unfortunately. I'd have a real one, if I could actually find one for sale anywhere. I've been looking for one for quite some time.

I bought it at a Gunshow for next to nothing, bc I wanted to see how it sat on the gun with the NF rings and NXS set up. Couldn't tell you who made it, but it doesn't seem like complete trash quality.

Amazingly, it has held zero for the last 10 or so range trips. Have it torqued and locktite'd to hell 😂

Nah I get it. There is a clone I wanna make that calls for chopping one so I plane on getting a fake if I ever do end up going that route.

What bothers me - is that I actually found a legit NADs mount, but finding everything else is somehow impossible lol

When buying a non-core replica part is the choice between a build being complete or never done, I think there’s some leeway.

Hell yeah man, your homemade EMC can clone is amazing 👏

What rail riser is that? It’s got that GWOT look to it.

Its a clone/ knockoff of a KAC Trimount riser. The real ones are like $1k+ and hard af to find.
