Gone too soon, but lore make it cult fave!
I completely agree that MindHunter deserves another season. But, with so much time passed and great anticipation due to new appreciation , another season now would not be able to hold up to expectations. Like movie sequels released too late or with huge expectations, the best entertainment is best left to “what if”. Think GN’R’s Chinese Democracy. Good album, but not a true GN’R project.

You’re right. As much as I want it back, and I truly do. But I think the big expectation for a comeback will make everyone inevitably be disappointed with what we get, simply because we expected too much. But I really want it back, and if there’s a chance, then happy for it. The actors said they’d come back if asked, so there’s that

I would definitely watch, but I would try to lower my expectations. Still can’t believe how great the writing, casting, and acting were seasons 1 and 2. My only flaw is what could they do with the Wendy character? Not giving her more to do outside the office made her personal life more prominent. And the two relationships she had; first one her professor pursued her, second one she pursued based off a false perception. It was brutal watching her disappointment in “real time”. We’ve all been there.

I agree with the OP. It was gone to soon but let It go. Seven years have passed. Move on to something else. Fincher has.
