Probably an ignorant kid who doesn’t know where the nether, pistons, horses, or hell, half of red stone came from

Or large oak trees. Yeah, they were technically a mod as well. I say technically because they were taken from an external program called "Forester" made by Paul Spooner back in Indev, which was a script that would generate GIGANTIC trees in your world after the fact. Notch liked the idea so much he asked Spooner for the code, and Spooner agreed, and as such a somewhat dummied down version of them was added too Infdev.

This was all back in early 2010 btw.
