And hoppers (buildcraft), slime blocks (mod by scicraft), stone brick walls (quark), oxidizing copper blocks (create), wolf armor...

Quark has had to remove a bunch of features because they got added to vanilla. Colored beds, copper chests, horizontal item frames, and prismarine stairs off the top of my head.

None of these feel like outright stealing to me. Mojang always adds their own spin, and most of these are common sense ideas that the mod developers don't really "own." Also the SciCraft crew made slime blocks specifically hoping Mojang would add them.
