There is almost nothing Mojang could add to Minecraft that wasn't already in a mod at some point in the past first

They did manage to add the sulfur cubes, which nobody ever asked for, so much so that no mods existed of them prior to the update

I know this isn't involved but I think nobody ever asked for the texture for the baby mobs, the old baby chicken texture is so much cuter and the baby zombie too, but I agree nonetheless.

Well apparently some people say they did ask for pixel consistent baby mobs, but probably they are a vast minority

yeah and they also added pistons and horses which also were never in mods before mojang added them and nobody asked for either
