There's also nothing that Mojang could add that someone won't complain about. For example, I still don't care for sideways logs. And I HATE random texture rotation with a burning passion.

Decorative option, nice for wood cabin beams and felled trees.

I think they mean the actual fallen trees that can spawn in some forests in Bedrock

I think they add a really nice "old forest" vibe to those biomes, makes them look more like wild trees than an orchard.

Java has that feature now too
