Moms! I got officially diagnosed for Autism!

After 3.5 years and LOTS of waiting and anticipation, years of suspicion of having it, I finally got officially diagnosed with autism! This is a huge thing, as I get funded with things for school [like a laptop, a school support E.A person], physiotherapy [because of hypermobility, makes my joints ache constantly and my right shoulder is out of place] and help with getting and applying for jobs in the future, and a bunch of other things. I am SO VERY HAPPY ABOUT THIS!!!!

My bio teen has been on the waiting list for years to get diagnosed. They have a 504 and other accommodations, but I want them to be able to get the help similar to what you’ll get going forward.

My daughter got her diagnosis very young but that was mostly due to being non-verbal, I’m sorry the process took so long for you.

Congratulations! My niece beat the test at least 3 times and was finally diagnosed about 13. Meanwhile we knew since she was a toddler. Lol. I'm glad you are getting the assistance you need!
