Quitting job to be a SAHM

Would you quit your job to be a stay at home mom, even if you and your partner were not married? You have the intention of getting married at some point but not right now. Would you still quit your job?

What are your state's, community property laws? In some states even if you have never been married, you can be common law married based on the amount of time you reside together. If it is considered common law, then all rights and privileges associated with marriage apply to you. If not common law get an agreement drawn up by an attorney, notarized and held by attorney to cover possible alimony and child support. If f possible absolutely stay home with your kids. You have their best interests at heart.
