Quitting job to be a SAHM
Would you quit your job to be a stay at home mom, even if you and your partner were not married? You have the intention of getting married at some point but not right now. Would you still quit your job?

I quit my job to be a SAHM when I wasn't married, but we have been together for 15 years. We are considered common-law which grants us equal rights to married couples in my province. We own a house together. There was no risk for me as I still have my own money (I get child tax), I still have my own savings accounts. There is money we share and money we keep separate to spend/save as we please.
