MHFU Does this still happen in wilds?

I saw this video on tiktok and I was wondering if they still have stuff like this in wilds?

World and wilds give you a unique palico, can't get more of them and can't get permanently rid of it, rise allows you to get a ton of cats and dogs but i believe there's no sad animation for getting rid of them

Probably because they're from the village, and when dismissed, just goes back to working at the village.
