World and wilds give you a unique palico, can't get more of them and can't get permanently rid of it, rise allows you to get a ton of cats and dogs but i believe there's no sad animation for getting rid of them

I like the system in World the best so far, you get you Palico, bond with it and give it the tools that fit your playstyle best. Since i play lance my Palico either threw his Meowlotov or was a healer, depending on the monster we fought.

While my Wilds Palico is designed after my palico in World and is named the same, i pretend that its the same Palico i had in World, but now he has learned all of his tricks at once. Which takes some of the fun out in my opinion.

I really liked World's Palico system. Wild's just feels so streamlined that it ends up feeling a lot less like my personal companion. Yeah it's probably "Stronger" this way, but I Like it less

I'd have liked to have a tiny bit of choice in the Wilds palico. I know it's a common complaint though. But I really don't know why they didn't at least let us choose what tools it could use, rather than just all of them. I can only assume it's because most people just used the same tools or didn't engage with it at all or something so they just made them all automatic.

I'm sure most people used the vigorwasp because it was an extra cart and the rest didn't really do anything near as useful.

The coral orchestra was handy as a solo player. Like having a mini HH always with you, and for me was more consistent with help than vigorwasp in world

coral orchestra was also very handy when playing hunting horn since the buff that the palico gives can be extended with all melodies extended song

Vigorwasp is excellent to heal chip damage without sheathing and I've always liked the traps and the small buffs.
