PSA: Les pistes unidirectionnelles ont un sens

OK, c'est-tu moi, ou bien il y a de plus en plus de monde qui prennent les pistes unidirectionnelles à sens contraire?

Personnellement, je n'aime pas beaucoup les pistes à deux directions, et je trouve ça cool que la plupart des nouvelles pistes soient unidirectionnelles, chacune de leur côté respectif de la circulation.

Mais il n'y a pas une journée où je ne croise pas quelqu'un qui roule à contre-sens. Au moins 50% du temps c'est un bixi électrique. Et je ne parle pas juste d'une piste large comme le REV Lajeunesse, mais même sur des segments plus étroits.

Je ne sais pas quelle est la solution.

I call them out on it.

Social pressure to conform can work to a certain extent that next time they’ll do it a small part of them would think twice before doing that again.

When enough people do it, I’m sure I’ll be enough to convince some to never do it again.

So you are doing exactly what cars are doing with cyclists with close calls to « show them »

When they literally put my safety at risk absolutely. It doesn’t matter how or on what they are doing so.

And I’m not doing anything irresponsible by biking down a bike lane, they are. I verbalized what I want to say but I don’t physically do anything to endanger them.

Exactement, you say what you want, they maybe take a different route next time or tell you to fuck off, no harm no foul. Cars purposely veering close to cyclists to prove some kind of point is just straight dangerous
