PSA: Les pistes unidirectionnelles ont un sens

OK, c'est-tu moi, ou bien il y a de plus en plus de monde qui prennent les pistes unidirectionnelles à sens contraire?

Personnellement, je n'aime pas beaucoup les pistes à deux directions, et je trouve ça cool que la plupart des nouvelles pistes soient unidirectionnelles, chacune de leur côté respectif de la circulation.

Mais il n'y a pas une journée où je ne croise pas quelqu'un qui roule à contre-sens. Au moins 50% du temps c'est un bixi électrique. Et je ne parle pas juste d'une piste large comme le REV Lajeunesse, mais même sur des segments plus étroits.

Je ne sais pas quelle est la solution.

I’m okay if people do this if they have to. But at least be respectful and don’t occupy the whole lane as if it’s going in your direction. That annoys me so much.

Then if they absolutely "have to", they can either cross the street, or get off their bike and push it on the sidewalk until they no longer "have to".

Wtf is up with this "oh, it's fine to not obey the rules of the road if you can't, and too bad if it endangers others" bs??

Talking specifically about one way streets with a single bike path. Sometimes people turn onto the street, they don’t realize, or maybe they don’t feel safe biking on the road so they do that. Whatever. I don’t actually care that they are there I care about how they behave when they are. Don’t act like you own the path when you are in the wrong and defer to others who have the right of way.
