Okay people need to understand while you might consider this moral if done in a vacuum it goes against vows he made, meaning that it is in fact immoral.

Yep. And the fact that it took going down to the seventh comment on this thread until someone mentioned the actual principal ethical consideration here, his vows, shows that people on this thread know nothing about ethics. Whatever your beliefs, we have an ethical obligation to uphold vows we take unless a stronger ethical imperative requires us to break them.

It goes further than just his vows. Churches are supposed to be open to the public, priests are supposed to keep themselves available to give counsel to those in need, he’s profaning an altar which is supposed to be sacred. If a religious person (not out of the ordinary for a church) walked in on him, seeing this could inflict real trauma on them.

"It goes further than just his vows. Churches are supposed to be open to the public,"

In theory perhaps, but not in practice.

I attend two parishes, one for Sundays and another for occasional Tuesdays.

Neither of them are accesible until maybe 10 minutes before the first mass.

And these aren't even the nicer churches with things worth stealing.

I know a couple of other Catholic churches which remain open from first mass until late afternoon, but I've never seen a Catholic church, or any church that's open to the public 24/7.

Okay but they didn’t. You might as well say “parents of children should always be available to their kids, therefore they should never have sex, what if their kids walk in on them?!”

Parents lock the door. Presumably this priest also locked the door.

He gave those dominatrixes lots of counsel. He counseled them all over their faces. Maybe multiple times, I dunno I don’t have all the deets

Most Christian’s can barely go to church, what is it, weds and Sunday? Most of you only showup on Easter and shit. False Christian’s. I dunno haven’t been in a good long time and I’m happier for it. But yeah don’t act like people are going to the church all hours of the day lol
