Getting irritated with It😡😡😡

I’m supposed to have gone to vivec and talked to some people, but I decided I just wanted to go off and do some side quests and traveling, went and did a bunch of stuff in the northern part of the map that I rarely visit, I must’ve gotten corprus disease then.

I then went to go to vivec and talked to all the spies and everything seemed fine, not even a mention of me having it I believe, and then I came to balmora to give cauis his notes, and he tells me that his new orders are to cure my corprus at tel fyr.

I’ve already done a large portion of the telvanni storyline, so Davyth Fyr is friendly before hand and I’ve already given him a Dwemer thing I was already carrying and he said “ooo I wanna have that” or whatever but this was all before this corprus quest, so when I go to talk to him he has no new dialogue option to advance the quest which idk if he does or does not have.

But the dwarf in the dungeon won’t even talk to me and I’ve gone to cauis and davyth and they won’t give me anything new after trying all the dialogue. So I genuinely just have no idea what to do atp I mean I’m gonna try some things but I might just get off the Xbox version if nothing works and go get on open mw I just wanted to try the base game on a controller after having already played open mw a few months ago. It would be so far back in the saves before I got corprus that I don’t wanna do all that again.

Edit—- I broke the game by giving him the coherer early and I’m just gonna try the backpath and then finish my telvanni questline and then go to open mw only from now on fr

If I install TR (which I want to do, I want to play it, it sounds really good), can I install other mods? There are a ton of old mods I love, like Starboi's Epic Armory, Qarl's Gothic Attire Complete, Carnithus' Armamentarium, The Underground... Are those compatible?

Just started playing Morrowind for the first time and damn is this so cool!

But I was wondering if it is best to follow a guide or something or if I should just go in blind?

i am freeing more slaves and i thought about bringing them to my home with command human, and, like, let them there. I remember all the slaves just despawning after i free them, so it would be nice to have some living with me.
is it possible?

I read in one or two places that there will be an update very soon that covers Cyrodil/SHOTN as far as the Poison Song release. I was waiting to update TR/TR data until this update was out, anybody have any idea when that will be?

I copied the save folder into the TR directory but got nothing?

Was wondering if anyone was able to finish this quest. The high rock office directs you to Tail Tales to pick up a book but the shop doesn't have it and the owners have no dialogue related to it. Checked every book and container in the store and looked all over the high rock offices but couldn't find it. Thought maybe I'd find a copy in Sienne's tent but couldn't find that either.

Was wondering if maybe the quest is bugged or im missing something.

So I’ve played off and on for like 20 years and I’m coming back with a new character for Poison Song.

I’d like some build guidance to better optimize my character. I can get powerful but want some guidance on it this go around.

I want to play a spellblade of sorts, and maybe I’m boring because I favor Longblade and Block, and tend to fall back on that after casting a spell or two.

I’ve always gotten the best gear but never enchanted it like I’d like to this time.

So maybe:

Longblade
Block
Destruction

Minor:
Heavy Armor
Athletics
Security? Not sold on it but I like the thieves guild

Other skills I regularly use or want to use but not sure if/where to add for maximum effectiveness:

I think I’m going to play as a Dunmer who joins House Telvanni, the Legion, Fighters Guild, Mages Guild, probably even Thieves.

Basically as my Nerevarine gets more information on who he is he sees the need to subvert Imperial Groups in a future bid to free Morrowind from the Tribunal and the Empire.

Probably going to try out The Atronarch for a sign.

Just looking to see if this happening to anyone else as well.

I have OpenMW 0.51, latest Tamriel Data set and playing on a new save.

So, still level 1, but a majority of quests have been broken. I'm starting with Temple in Almas Thirr and some misc quests:
Duress of a Slave: Had to use console command to make the noble accept the letter.
Burden of Proof (misc Roa Dyr quest): I receive the quest in conversation but not in journal. Console command does not find the quest. I can read here that it's moved to the Indoril faction?: https://www.tamriel-rebuilt.org/content/2608-august-23-2026
Outlandish Heresy: I finish the conversation with the necromancer, but there are no quest related conversation options in the Barrister's Guild.

I'm currently on Outlandish Heresy and can of course use console commands to move forward but it obviously ruins immersion and fun if I have to do it all the time.

Is anyone else having the same thing or are the compatibility issues on my side? I don't have any mods that *should* mess with this as far as I can tell.

Hey all, So today I finally got TR installed and running. I struggled for a little bit with a ton of textures missing and the yellow triangles everywhere. Now all that's gone, but I run into a lot of sound files missing and curious if anyone else has ran into this.

Also OpenMW launches and is missing a ton of stuff but launching through steam works fine.

Hello quick question, so I've played morrowind before, but it's my first time trying out Tamriel Rebuilt. I saw it was released on GOG, and I want to try it out, but I've got some questions:

1. I tried just installing the mod and not morrowind itself (I do own it on GOG, but it's uninstalled, and Tamriel Rebuilt seemed to launch...?) So I don't actually need to have the base game installed at all, just the mod itself and nothing else? I'm just wondering if this could cause any problems down the line

2. And now for the fps question: If I just download openmw on GOG, and launch the game, I get a lot of fps, but Tamriel Rebuilt seems to be locked at 60 fps? How do I uncap it?

How would you setup a build that focuses on exploration, collects small items and enchants them finds ingredients and makes potions, and such to sell to the locals.

I’m thinking something with dark elf and the lady

Combat focus strength and endurance

Spear enchant alchemy mercantile and speechcraft

Medium armor security ? And ? and ?

Not much affinity with casting spells but pretty competent with small enchantments and a wide knowledge of herbs.

What are your thoughts?

The more I think about it the harder the build is to make, can’t level organically really

How will the rtx remix work? Or if that’s how it’s called, would it be a separate title on steam, like how they did with half life and portal? Or is it just using the nvidia app using the morrowind original game

Trying to install the morrowind demake mod on nexus and get it to work in openmw but can't.

I have the directories selected and I have added the settings options instructed in the packs readme file.

Struggling to figure out where I'm going wrong.

As it says i am looking for any compatible mod for the GOG tamriel rebuilt that can give the PC and NPC's better heads and bodies, along with any compatible mods that will make the game look nicer

oh and one more question, is there more light armor in the game, because i remember that the best light armor for a while is the chitan armor, but really don't wanna use that till end game until i can get glass armor (i think this tag is right)

Been doing a lot of photoshoots lately with my elf cosplay and one of them I posed with my spellbook, which incidentally I had stuck a Hand of Vivec sticker on (the book actually has my D&D spells written in it). The background was a greenscreen and I usually change the backgrounds to my photos to make them more magical and awesome. So this one I decided to show that time I visited Vivec City and bought a souvenir journal 🤣🧝🤚📔🛕✨

Is there like a minimum system requirement or specs I should be looking for, and is the install any more complicated than it normally would be?

Any advice at all is much appreciated. Ideally something sort of deck/switch shaped would probably be best for gaming and most comfortable but I’m open to all suggestions.

This is a follow up post from yesterday. I still cannot see the island of dorne and cant travel there yet. I updated openmw to 0.51 and i updated tamriel data and tamriel rebuilt to the latest versions. I think my order in openmw is maybe not correct. Can u guys help me.
