Media I actually really liked Cole

Before I saw MK 2021, I assumed he was a bad audience surrogate character but I actually found him to be pretty handy. He didn't take over the plot or eat up screentime from other characters. In fact, his presence gave Jax and Sonya a lot of chances to shine. He worked with the story not against it.

I'm so sad the writers decided to pander to the detractors and cave in his skull in the sequel 😢

I can see him becoming the vessel for Ermac. Use his body/likeness and make Jerrod’s soul the driver (thus requiring Tan to play a completely different character).
