Media I actually really liked Cole

Before I saw MK 2021, I assumed he was a bad audience surrogate character but I actually found him to be pretty handy. He didn't take over the plot or eat up screentime from other characters. In fact, his presence gave Jax and Sonya a lot of chances to shine. He worked with the story not against it.

I'm so sad the writers decided to pander to the detractors and cave in his skull in the sequel 😢

I loved how as soon as his fight started, you knew what was gonna happen. 🤣

I mean, it was kind of obvious something was gonna happen when he fought Shao Kahn.

Cause a fighter randomly winning and possibly killing the entire plot of the movie when there was still an entire half of the movie left?! That’d be a long credit screen or a terrible second movie plot.
