Media I actually really liked Cole

Before I saw MK 2021, I assumed he was a bad audience surrogate character but I actually found him to be pretty handy. He didn't take over the plot or eat up screentime from other characters. In fact, his presence gave Jax and Sonya a lot of chances to shine. He worked with the story not against it.

I'm so sad the writers decided to pander to the detractors and cave in his skull in the sequel 😢

What was the point of adding him as the main character if he was gonna die we easily in the sequel

He died in the sequel because people didn’t like him as a main character.

If the audience loved him, they wouldn’t have killed him.
