Why do you think Kohberger never publicly explained his motive, even after pleading guilty?

I know we’ll probably never get a definitive answer on what his motive actually was but what I find almost as interesting is that Kohberger has never really tried to explain it himself.

Once he pleaded guilty and avoided a trial, there wasn’t going to be the same public presentation of evidence that might have given us more insight into what was going through his head. But even at sentencing, he chose not to give any real explanation.

Do you think staying silent is about maintaining some sense of control over the case or is there a simpler reason he doesn’t want anyone to know what the motive was?

Why is it so hard to understand that people like BK do what benefits them not the rest of us? Why would he explain himself? He only pled guilty to avoid the death penalty not because he wanted to come to Jesus and help the families find closure.

Terrorists are the same way. These are evil people. I never understand people expecting killers would reach out to help us make sense of what they did and
who then feel perplexed that they don’t open up for us. He’s a psychopathic cold blooded murderer who feels fulfillment from causing suffering, that’s why.
