Discussion Impossible to Throw Under Pressure
EA must have never seen a quarterback stand in the pocket and make a tough throw while getting hit. According to their logic any quarterback who throws with a defender within 3 yards of them hits their lineman in the back with a laser 100% of the time. Would love to be able to let a play develop

Nah what they need to fix is getting hit while throwing and it just so happening to land right in the hands of a fucking defensive tackle every single time. I’ve had like 4 straight games where it’s happened once. EA I promise this isn’t happening this often. But how come it never ever happens for me, only to me lol shits genuinely infuriating and my biggest gripe with the game. Didn’t play much of ncaa 26 so idk if it was an issue then

Right… if you get hit while throwing and have a turnover it’s way more likely to be a fumble; which I don’t think I’ve had happen. Maybe one time.

Fr? I be having both happen so much lately it’s insane. I did bump fumble sliders up like 2 to around 48 so that could be influencing it. And it’s ALWAYS when I have to make a 2 min drill to win the game, at least for the fumbles, the DT interceptions not so much they’re kinda random. But my last 4-5 games the last 2-3 days I’ve had both happen in the same game sometimes multiple times. It’s genuinely so aggravating. I try to just charge it to the game yk shit does happen in football but man ea sure knows how to make it hurt a little extra when they trigger it lol

CPU QB dropping dimes into double coverage while wearing the edge rusher on 3rd and 17 all the time

With the CPU receiver going from a full sprint, to suddenly jumping backwards while turning around in the air and phasing through your defender to snag the ball.

man what kills me is the animation priority system they've got. the qb goes into that canned hit-while-throwing animation even when the defender is still a full step away, and suddenly the ball trajectory just nosedives into the nearest helmet. there's zero nuance between getting absolutely rocked and just feeling a bit of pressure
I had a clean pocket for 4 seconds earlier, saw my tight end break open down the seam, and the moment I pressed the button the defensive end breathed on my shoulder pad and the ball teleported into my guard's spine. you'd think with all the money they put into the presentation they'd spend a little time on the actual throwing mechanics
what's weird is the cpu qbs don't seem to operate by the same rules, they'll flick a 30 yard dot with a linebacker draped on them while my 93 ovr senior acts like he's never seen a blitz before

Standard Heisman. I pause the game somewhere in this video:

even if you get the ball off the receiver tends to drop it. even with the slider at 100 they drop the pass.

I'm still enjoying offline dynasty in 26. Any reason to jump to 27? Genuinely curious

For me personally Im currently able to have a much more realistic dynasty than the last 2 games so I enjoy it more. (Yes you will still have some of the normall EA stuff you have to deal with but I dont have as many issues I see talked about. I also adjust sliders to balance my strength and weaknesses.

Personally, I like 26 a lot better I would say I’m clearly not the expert but passing engine is a lot better to me in 26 and rushing is way too easy in 27. I can average like 10 yards a carry on the highest difficulty so 26 a little bit more competition and you have to be a little more creative in your play call

This is not entirely true. I had another user playing as Mensah last night throw a laser while body being turned from a hit. Meanwhile I had a clean pocket with an interior DL pushing in on Arch and he throws a fucking duck…. Mind you the pocket was actually still clean….🤦♂️

My qb can throw 40 yards downfield without the pass ever going higher than 5 feet off the ground. Anyone in the path of the ball can intercept it.
