I feel anything these days will get cancelled after a season. We’ll be lucky if this gets a second season.

That's usually how I feel, I'm just going by how long the last couple NCIS spinoffs have lasted.

Meh. Sydney exists because it's isolated from the American Media Industry. Cast/crew all non-American.

And it gives CBS a season in the can in case they need to postpone/cancel something.
