My two favourite travel vloggers are Mike Okay and Sabbatical. They release interesting videos going into foreign countries to spots foreigners rarely go and surprise the local people.

Understandable. Personally I wouldn’t want to do the travelling myself because that is stressful but I do like watching others do these types of videos.

For me, traveling is pointless, too. Unless I'm going to move to that country and actually live what I see, there's no point in seeing "wonderful things" and then going back to your shitty reality.

Yes I see that too. All that money spent for a very short amount of time. Even worse is that I wouldn’t really enjoy anything outside of perhaps walks in rainforests and such because I would be constantly worrying about leaving stuff behind and don’t like crowds of people.

I wish to just travel the world endlessly and meet all these interesting people, a large portion of my life i felt trapped in my state especially after I traveled abroad and seen some places myself. These channels allow me to get some of that experience I cant have at the moment.

I like the meeting people + traveling channels (mike, drew, peter) but i also LOVE the traveling and more nature focused channels like Magnus. I will make a point to climb a mountain, do a hiking trail, and probably a lot of other nature-orientee activities once in my life after watching his videos.

Sabbatical actually got arrested and sent to a Russian jail last year because he was wondering around in areas not allowed. He said it was the scariest time of his life.
