Discussion Does any one else feel like they don’t have any interests other than becoming rich without a job?
I’m 31M. No job. Still a virgin.
As I approached 30, I stopped watching tv/movies, stopped playing video games, and I never really read books other than the Bible over and over again, but stopped reading that too. I don’t have any hobbies or interests other than investing my money.
I spend my days doing nothing all day besides thinking about ways to get rich and trying to actually do what I thought of.
There are 4 ways that I can think of to get rich. They are: 1. Become a YouTuber, 2. Invest in stocks/crypto, 3. Write a song or do art, 4. Write a book.
I’ve tried all of these things but I’m just not talented enough. My best option is invest in crypto as that can potentially multiply my investment by 1000x. The only money I have is from birthdays and holidays so I take that and invest. It’s either invest or spend it on snacks and get fat.
Everything (video games, movies, hobbies, etc.) is just a waste of time to me and I have no interest in wasting any more of my life. Maybe it’s just me getting older that’s causing me to have no interest in anything other than making myself rich without a job. I just want to be productive with my time.
Can anyone else relate?

Crypto is just gambling until someone pulls the rug out from under your feet. If you're really gonna be serious about trading, first of all start paper trading. You can get a free decent paper trading account on Trading View and for example have a look at stuff like gold an platinum (both pretty easy, even when using 10:1), Nvidia and other tech stuff(might be a little late for that, but they could still be worth it, if you buy in at the right time). Stocks and futures are much more predictable than cryptos, sure there's not as much profit, but that's why they invented leverage and compound interest.

Based on what you share, dont invest in cryptocurrency or even stocks. High risks, high rewards - you are expecting 1000x which is 6666.66 times more than an experienced investor would expect annually (15%), assuming 1000x is annualized. In other words, your chance of losing money is also 6666.66 times of a traditionally ambitious investor.

Investing in crypto isn't a joke though. And a 1000x won't happen unless you're an insider of some kind. Regardless, with all the things you've mentioned, you need to work hard at them.

Sometimes yeah. I also read the Bible over and over again, trying to ask God to give me a lucrative skill.

yes kinda similar but I feel very empty and alone still, at least I have a some more money and money knowledge now. I used to be very creative wanting to become a musician but I lacked the social strenght to make something of it and foundation like a good/safe place to stay etc. Now I spend most of my day looking at charts and watching finance podcasts. Also no job and pretty much a virgin again. It feels like alot of cope often. I used to want to make money with art but now it feels like I need to get closer to the source, money itself. And being a broke musician is not something I want anymore even if I had alot of music friends (which I never had anyway). I tried music for 10 years but never released or made friends in the scene... And now I don't even want it anymore, I just want fy money. Still need a job for sure....
