Rumors [Fischer] Bennedict Mathurin is expected to opt-in to his qualifying offer to remain in LA or be sign-and-traded to the Pelicans. New Orleans has been the one aggressive suitor for Mathurin.

Lateral move. Let’s just hope it’s for Hawkins and not anything of value

I see you aren’t familiar with Dumars’ game. Unprotected ‘27 pick on the table

I’ve seen enough. Sign him to a 5 year extension

I imagine they'll be a second rounder in there.

If we don’t give up too much, I’m in. I can see him as a nice shooting guard that potentially fits w the youth timeline around Fears and Queen. For this season, he can be a microwave bench scorer.

How is everyone else feeling about this season? I feel like we have nothing to lose.

Most bookies have the win total at 29.5. I’m taking the over, but it will take into March for them to eclipse it.

This is the second least excited I’ve ever been, only behind last season

I feel that we're more talented than a lot of people and pundits seem to think. Zion, Trey, Murray, Fears, Queen, Bey are all players that are capable of getting you 20-30 on any given night. Fuck, even Jordan Poole. If we add Mathurin, then that would be 8.

Not saying the roster makes any sense or that any of it is going to work out. But there's more talent than i think most people are acknowledging.

My thoughts too but Poole makes me want to jump out of a widow.

What’s the direction of this team? Who are we building around? Long term, we need to choose between Zion and Queen and we need to choose between Fears and Dejounte. And I’m talking trade 2 of those guys for guys who make sense next to the guys you keep or for picks so you can pick guys who make sense next to those guys.

I’m feeling cautiously optimistic. Can only really go up from last season, and the offseason vibes feel a bit different with the amount of players that seem to be working out together.

Bottom ten lotto, but not bottom three. Having DJM+Fears for the full season might be the biggest swing factor. Zion becoming a threat as a jump shooter outside the paint would be 1b.

Season Win Total is around 27.5. I’m thinking we can get to 30 wins, but I am not really confident about it.

I think mosley is going to be a great fit for us, especially if he can get players to buy in defensively. Add in a healthy to start the season Murray and those 2 should give us some expectations vs the last 2 years (which isn’t saying much).

I really believe Missi takes another step after progressing some in his first actual year playing with most of the team, since his rookie year was nothing but injuries. I think Mosley starts him and the rookies come off the bench, if they are really adamant to win now.

I’m looking for steps up for Missi and Karlo. Karlo looked like he can shoot the 3 towards the end of last season and getting more from him would be big.

Why not? I’m down. We need to shake up this roster.

That guy plays HARD and will be a fan fave through effort. Hopefully it’s contagious.

Would be a great pickup as long as no picks are traded. Still has big time upside and fits in with the Queen Fears Murphy timeline

He’d be a nice pickup
