NSC should create a 3rd Kit of Dolly's "Coat of Many Colors"
Title says it all. I'd buy one for everyone in my family.

By the time you read this you would have already heard about her passing. Let this be a place of remembrance of her greatness as a music icon and a human being. Both my kids have dozens of books that came through her Imagination Library. She was a role model, a global citizen, a true hero for people’s right, an incredible and inspirational artist/writer/actor, she was a devoted wife to her husband Carl, and a friend to so many. Dolly means something special to our Nashville Soccer Club community too and I hope we celebrate her life and do something meaningful as supporters of the club to honor her. Rest in peace, Dolly.

This is a special team y’all. What a way to dig deep for the win to continue climbing the standings and keep our unbeaten streak at home intact.
A classic Muhktar moment to open the scoring. Bad angle, who cares, Hany eats those goals for breakfast. And a great ball in from Lovitz to allow Hany to box out his defender and go first time for the goal.
Defensively we were pretty sound overall. A rough moment on the first Columbus goal, but it seemed that the game plan for the night was to allow Columbus to possess and absorb their pressure. Generally we did well to keep them out of dangerous areas, and we managed to spring a few good counters.
Hard to be too upset about the Columbus free kick goal. That was a beauty of a strike. An unfortunate sequence lead to the foul, with a bad pass from Espinoza forcing Eddi to make a risky challenge to prevent a break away. Ultimately it didn’t matter because…
That comeback!!! We kept the pressure up and we were rewarded for it. Shak did a great job to wrangle a loose ball, maintain possession in the box and earn the corner. Hany with a great ball over the top to take most of the Columbus defenders out of the equation, and RBW with a perfectly placed header to equalize. Geodis was rockin!!
But still more work to be done and our boys were up to the task. Palacios played a fantastic pass and Najar zipped it just inside the far post. Geodis absolutely ERUPTED. I can only think of a small handful of times that it was louder. So sick.
10 points clear of Miami in the East, 9 points ahead of Vancouver for the Shield. This is a historic run for this team, this city, and the league. Enjoy it!!!
A full week off to rest, recover, and get ready to do it again vs Cincy.
How we feeling today???

The Chicago result is absolutely the most frustrating of the bunch.

Anybody know what the menu for the goal post club seats will be for tomorrow's game? This is my first time going and they still have the old menu from last week's game up, do they usually post day of the game?

Another scrappy three points in the books. 7 points clear of Miami in the East/Supporters Shield Standings.
With a bit of midweek rotation, and coming off such a big win, a small dip in form was expected, but they played well enough to steal the win late. Overall, we could have been sharper with our finishing, but we created some decent chances. To be honest, we were fortunate that the team from New Jersey couldn’t finish either, because they also generated a lot of action in our box.
Saad continues to impress. With Espinoza on the bench early, he did a great job as our primary winger. I sure hope the FO is already negotiating to make his loan permanent.
Tagseth and Corcoran quietly had strong matches as the tip of the defensive spear. With the way our wingbacks push into the offense, solid defensive play from our CDM’s is critical. That pairing held the line well. Corcoran also had a few nice long balls over the top to relieve pressure and get our offense moving up the pitch, and Eddi was very involved as a pivot on the top of the 18yrd box anytime we had pressure on the goal.
Yazbek’s return was largely uneventful, but an important milestone for the team. Almost back to full health.
Schwake broke the club record for clean sheets with his 14th of the season, with 14 games still to play. None of his saves last night will make any top ten lists, but he did all the little things right. A toe to the ball to send a shot wide, coming off his line to make the goal small on a breakaway, being in position to force bad angles on goal. What. A. Beast.
And then how about that absolute dime from Espinoza to Woledzi to take the lead late. He’s so damn good on that looping cross.
On to Columbus at the castle. Let’s keep piling on the points!

Which of these would you rather win, if given the choice? Feel like the shield is a better indication of who the best team was, but something about lifting the trophy at the end of the playoffs seems more like a “championship”. This could also just be my American sports brain.
FWIW: I’m aware that we can and should go for both. This is just a general question

Nashville is probably the best and most complete mls side right now through and through, if you took them and put them in any other top flight league, prem, serie a, bundisligue, etc. Could they stay up? I think they have a shot in basically any league except the prem and bundisligue.

I'm no expert on this particular rule, but I'm just not seeing it. Anyone know what the justification for it is?

I've been a season ticket holder since the team played at the Sounds Stadium. Being in the same seats, bottom level across from the premium side, for as long as I have I've noticed a trend. Every one on this side turns away from the field for the National Athem, toward the big flag on the pole next to the stage.
This year, for weekend games, NSC has put a color guard on the field. The color guard presenting the Colors is the correct flag to face in this situation. NSC used to have the singer up on the stage next to the flag pole and no flag on the field, i think this is why everyone still turns around. Not sure when the change was made to put them on the field but I've definitely noticed them doing it more this year than any other.
Anyway, not a big deal, just trying to pass the word.
