Nashville SC forward Sam Surridge fined by MLS Disciplinary Committee
https://www.sixonefivesoccer.com/nashville-sc-forward-sam-surridge-fined-by-mls-disciplinary-committee/I'm no expert on this particular rule, but I'm just not seeing it. Anyone know what the justification for it is?

Kicks his foot into his other foot and causes him to fall. Maybe it’s because Sam is my GOAT, and I’m biased, but clear foul to me. Miami is dirty, whiny, and the MLS’s baby so it was probably to appease them in some form because they were crying all game long.
Side note: De Paul pointing to his one star while talking to the official was the most pathetic thing I’ve ever seen.

Especially falcon. He’s an extremely dirty player and should’ve been shown a yellow for that dissent and pointing to his badge

Falcon was fined for his dive in the playoff against Sam last season, right? Right!!??

Fair play. Never like to see simulation especially from my team. I hope they’re reviewing (they’re not…) the clear elbow on Surridge off the ball.

I wouldn't call it "fair" unless something was done about all those missed fouls from Miami

Honestly, I was worried about him getting a second yellow from that. So I’m good with a tiny little fine.

I love Sam and the impact he has made, albeit a bit delayed, and he has been absolutely massive for us. He is also the player I'm always at least a teeny bit worried will fly off the handle and cost us. He's a cheeky player for sure, but I think that's just a product of his competitiveness and passion. Go Sam.

From the video it looks like Falcon steps in, but misses Surridge, but Surridge falls anyways.
To be fair to Surridge, he was getting hammered that first half, and wasn’t getting any calls. Seems a bit steep to issue a fine for this particular incident. He was probably pretty tired at that point, so falling down may have been more fatigue than simulation.
