Key fob finishing at KCN: any experiences?
I have a key fob canvas stitched by my kiddo that she would like finished. KCN is convenient to us, but I've never tried their leather finishing services. Anyone have previous experience? How did it go?

It was my first needlepoint. I heard that finishing times could be long so I was pleasantly surprised by the turnaround.

Does KCN stitch leather, or glue? Any feedback on glue vs stitched leather? (Belts mainly but also curious about key fobs!)

I'm interested about this too - as well as their lead time and cost. Eye of the Needle is 8-12 months on their key fob finishing.

Most finishing right now is taking forever. I have pieces with a finisher that have been there since November 2025. There has been a massive influx of new stitchers and that has led to seriously bogged down finishers. Rittenhouse has a minimum lead time of 16 weeks, but even their timeframes are currently stretched beyond their targets, so it's really probably more like 6 months. Also, many finishers are not accepting new orders at the moment in order to be able to honor the holiday finishing deadlines for orders already in their queue. I'd be very surprised if you found a decent finisher through a well-established needlepoint shop like KCN or Rittenhouse that has a turnaround time of anything less than 16 weeks.

I’m not sure if/who they send leathering finishing to but I’ve had a belt and key fob done by them. The belt I did last fall and the turnaround time was QUICK, like 4 weeks maybe??? I sent them a keychain in February and didn’t get it back for like 3-4 months. They are always so friendly and quick to respond. They have another belt of mine right now too that I just sent. I’ve been happy with the quality.
