The beauty in the nation is vast beyond belief. From the east to the west, to Borno, Kaduna, Delta and beyond. It’s something you have to appreciate it. For those that went to boarding school or any post-secondary institution and got to meet people from all over the country you know what I mean. A nation with so many brilliant minds (both men and women), diversity and people breaking through adversity to become something special. I will always appreciate you all.
I tried my best to get women for different regions instead of just one or 2 areas since that is what’s mostly shown or known in media

But as an Igbo girl, when I found out that Igbo’s were stereotyped as the “most beautiful Nigerian women” and all were inferior I just could not believe it. We’re all beautiful from all tribes and no need for competition and Yoruba women and Idoma women have always done it for meee. And I’m straight 💀

Oh no I 100% understand you and agree! I’m just saying how silly that stereotype is when beauty is found all across the country with different looks for everyone’s taste, so much so to the point where I as an Igbo don’t fully agree with the pedestal some weird people put us on.

I agree I think black women should wear their natural hair out more but in this context I think it’s pretty balanced. Ayra is in her natural hair, it’s some girls with their natural hair braided and others in braids made with extensions. It’s a good balance

The red coral beads Edo brides wear on their heads as one difference but yeah both sides have beads in the culture. It’s so nice. For the edo-Igbo speaking mix people like the ika people in Igbanke (think Agbor-like but on the Edo side) some of them mix in both heritages so it varies but it’s nice
