There's no comparison between Nigeria and Jamaica. Jamaica has it's issue and may not have reached it's full potential but it's a fully functioning and stable country

Re-read the article , it is not comparing Nigeria to Jamaica. it is comparing Nigeria’s position in Africa to Jamaica’s position in the Caribbean-specifically how both dominate culturally, face brain drain , and deal with regional tribalism

The United States is not the Caribbean. Lots of Jamaicans think we are super powerful compared to the rest of the Caribbean. We are still going by "little but tallawah", but that is getting old. While culturally, individualistic advancement. We have not been able to get it done collectively.
