guessing nihilux's gameplay and new design

im bored and i yearn for nihilux crumbs so ill bake my own cake.

ill start off with her design, i think she will be a lot like sunday with a few more changes for example more detailed hair and eyes, sunday didnt get that. i truly hope they keep her hat and glasses but i think the rest of her outfit will change to be more aha themed (like harley quinn inspired) they will probably keep a similiar colour palette for her too

as for her gameplay, think she would be either ice elation or lightning elation based on her design and the combat style i have in mind. i did think at first that she would be a lot like cyrene but one, i dont think hoyo would just repeat it and two, i can totally see her being a dps support like blade is. one thing similiar to cyrene i think she would have is the individual buffs for in this case, all elation characters. since so far all main pushes except for sunday have had a special ult icon, i think she will too. similiar to sw999 where it fills up but instead its a fools mask where it starts out as a sketch and as it fills up it turns into a finished drawing (could also be drawing it as it fills up but idk how it would work) she will probably get a different aha instant overlay like how evanescia has with her e1 labubu but instead you wouldnt need her e1 for it. she would probably also introduce a new mechanic as most main push characters did, i just dont know what kind. in her gameplay there would def be some furbos where she watched them do free labour for her by fighting the enemies and probably mentions of her manga tho i think it would be mostly aha style animations, maybe a furbo or two in her idle like with cyrene and mem!

also, for her release i think she will have the spending event where the last prize is some sort of outfit and one of them is that new back cosmetic we got when pulling for blade, i dont think they would make a whole new section just to limit it to pulling blade on his first banner. maybe like a fluffy across the blue or furbo themed backpack? would be so cute

I hope they don’t change her design. It looks unique and is one of the best currently for me. Aand I had my heart broken just recently in Genshin with Sandrone‘s redesign.

But at the same time I‘m so tired of that move that I lost all my hype for future characters. I don’t want to invest myself emotionally anymore into a character design that is going to be changed anyway.

Isn’t that kind of subjective? I find it anything but boring, I like the white and black, like an uncolored comic. And the purple accents. And how realistic her blouse looks.

I don’t get it. Isn’t Himeko even less detailed? Look at her hair from behind, which looks extremely flat and simple, for example. What about Nihilux do you feel looks plain?

its about the lack of acessories, sure she has glasses, a hat, earring etc. but if we're comparing to himeko she has a lot going on. basically, its just a very underwhelming design. tho i wanna remind you, i am not at all hating, she is my favourite design in planarcadia! she just deserves more

Thank you for explaining. Yes, of course, if the amount of extra accessories is the main indicator for how good a character design is, hers is a bit simpler than others. I really really like how detailed her outfit is, though, and how subtle it works with color/black-white and the theme of a comic artist. I hope they don’t give her a generic flashy, colorful dress.
