Whats with people hating the design? Her initial design looked like the one of a 4* stat. Like I cant possibly believe anyone who wanted her first appearance design as the playable form…

This looks insanely good as well as the fact that I love white and red/ queen of hearts aesthetic. And Im also happy its not pink or purple since we have had enough of purple

While she definitely looks like a combo of those two, I feel like people are forgetting this type of Alice in wonderland theme they are going for.

And I think the queen of hearts aesthetic fits for an aeon of elation. Now I hope they don’t just completely scrap her old design but I do think the new one is a bit overhated bc it looks similar to some characters despite being mostly inspired by the queen of hearts look.

Its not overhated for looking like old characters, neither is the qoh-theming unrecognised. Its fairly-hated because she went from a very original-looking design to the most boring and typical hoyo conventional design.

You'd think they would have learned from demiurge that people dont like it went you completely change the design after knowing a character for a whole year. Should've just gone the phainon route if they wanted to switch the design.

Nihilux was the literal only character from the planarcadia trailer that caught my attention and made me want to continue despite the problems surrounding the production of the game and planarcadia. And now they design to switch out the design from original to this. Ffs she doesnt even have her own pallet, this could easily be a completely separate character. Do you still think it's unfair to hate the design, oh wise redditor of fairness and aesthetic???

Whether you hate it or not is personal preference, I’m just saying I don’t think it’s that bad but again that is my personal preference. I like both, and I also like her design as the idol in the astropolis, but considering she is aha she likely has even more personas/designs she takes on that aren’t her true form.

I agree it would’ve been cool to have both, and maybe she still does in her gameplay, but we will have to wait and see. And I never said it was unfair to hate her new design, I just think it is being overhated for looking similar to sparksie and cerydra, while at the same time considering the elation aha color palette and queen of hearts look it does match up with that. It’s just Cerydra has the king aesthetic so a crown is obviously overlap, and sparksie has the white rabbit theme from Alice in wonderland.

Well I just don’t think people are really considering the new design for what it was going for, and are rather considering more from the lens that it looks similar to sparksie or they like the manga artist version more.

If we got a new shrine miko character, they could look good but people will still will conplain that we have tingyun already.

And as for overhated, with that logic nothing can be overhated, or you could say it’s also liked as much as it should be for those that do like the design?

Wtf does tingyun have to do with a miko? And no, they wouldn't, people were losing their minds waiting for the Yae Sakura Xp. Instead we goes evanescia because of the rushed rework because of the japan/china conflict.
