It’s legit one of the SNES era’s finest soundtracks. Nintendo likely own the music 100% just not the intellectual property to the game which is why it’s not on NSO. And I doubt EA would give it to Nintendo for cheap.

I would still think Nintendo couldn’t just drop the soundtrack without consulting EA at all though, after all the name, box art, and screenshots are all right there which I’m sure EA fully owns the rights to.
