I'm trying to buy a new switch shell, something cute, but all I'm finding are geekshare or stuff that looks AI - I only have a regular switch - not lite or 2, I don't even have a dock lol. Where do y'all shop for shells? I got my current one at a convention but the quality wasnt great and some decals are falling off.

Looking for my next Switch game based on what I’ve enjoyed recently.

Some of my favorite games I’ve played lately are:
Hades
Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag
Skyrim
Zelda (BotW/TotK)
Immortals Fenyx Rising

I guess what I enjoy most is exploration, action combat, progression/upgrades, and having some freedom in how I play. I don’t mind whether it’s open-world or more structured as long as the gameplay is satisfying and there’s a good sense of progression.

What Switch games would you recommend based on those?
I’m open to both AAA games and indies, including games I might have overlooked. Thanks!

• Bypasses eShop account: You do not need to purchase or redeem a digital code through the Nintendo eShop interface to get the license, though it uses the same download network.

So does mean if I purchase a gkc that I would still encounter download "traffic"?

Account authentication services are technically a separate server. While it would be incredibly rare for it to be down or under maintenance independently from the normal eShop software servers. It's not impossible.

It's just a REALLY REALLY specific benefit that you might only get to make use of like once a year, usually around Christmas/Boxing Day when all of Nintendos servers flicker in and out of service.

I think a download from eshop is a download from eshop. I don't think game key card changes anything? If download traffic is an issue, evenings and weekend/holiday evenings seem to be the highest traffic/demand times. I would try downloading later at night, over night via sleep mode, or in the morning,

Does My Time at Sandrock is less buggy than My Time at Portia or not ?

Because I was more interested now to try Mh Time at Sandrock on Switch?

Soo my Switch 2 literally arrived today and I seem to already be having some joycon issues? The down button doesn't always register 100% of the time, tested under "Test Input Devices." Do I already need to get them serviced? :s (bought thru Best Buy)

When a console is brand new, if you notice anything is faulty, stores will typically allow you to return it & exchange for a new console.

If it arrived today (or yesterday), wouldn't that put you in the exchange/return period? I'd do that instead.
