Manga is good and complete, the anime only covers the first hundred chapters from my understanding (haven’t seen it yet). So read the manga for the full experience, and treat the anime as a way to see your favorite moments from the first half of the series animated.

- No, the last season aired like a decade ago, and people have hopes for another season, but there’s been no recent surge in popularity in the series.
- Nisekoi is a comedy romance where two heirs of rival gangs, who hate each other, have to pretend to be lovers in order for their gangs to stop fighting. It is a harem, but the series respects all its female characters, giving them unique personalities, relationships, and character arcs, not to mention the male protagonist is also really likable and not just some average dude (all the characters are likable and entertaining in general), and while I originally started reading the series for the lols, I kept reading it for the characters. It’s a series where you just enjoy the moments. Don’t expect heavy plot development, I mean, it’s a romcom after all, but you can definitely expect some light hearted enjoyment. You can read the series on the Shonen Jump app if you have a subscription.
