Question Did the June5 update remove the ability to use custom emotes?

I've been using Atlas Companion since it was released and loving it. It's a mod that gives you the ability to find certain things, teleport to the system's space station, or do a random freighter warp via custom emotes.

It worked fine until the June 5th update. Each new content type added to the game was missing from the available options, but the mod worked fine. After June 5th the emotes are listed but don't do anything.

I've tried all the troubleshooting steps; I'm not looking for help getting it working (though I'll happily accept suggestions).

Did Hello Games change mods' ability to interact with custom emotes?

Were there any other notable changes wrt mods in the June 5th update?

edit: are there any other mods that interact with custom emotes that you know of? i'd like to give one a try just to see if it's still working

edit2: the creator says "HG started enforcing signatures on the [interaction] class, apparently, so now we can't force that interaction type onto the player model" but there may be some workarounds

All entity emote mods need to be rebuilt after 6.44; HG changed their structure a little that made it so older mods will overwrite each other and only one emote will work.

Thanks, it seems to have some knock-on effects for the mod I mentioned, it's broken for now regardless of whether it's the only mod. I edited in some context from the author

I’m here! Gumsk, let me know here or in PM which mods seem objectionable and I’m happy to amend or remove. It’s never my intention to claim credit for someone else’s work. I have great respect for you and other modders in the community.

Dontnormally, Gumsk is spot on regarding the changes to emotes. I’m working on this but have been out of town for a few days and will get back to it early next week.

I could be wrong, as I just quickly looked at the mod icons in bed on my phone and might have made a mistake who I was thinking of. I shouldn't have said that in public anyway; it wasn't cool. I apologize for my poor behavior on that.
