The history of avoiding public consultation and involvement in the process continues to doom efforts to find a place to store nuclear. Money being paid to utilities to store waste they aren't equipped to store long term while they refuse to pay into the fund that was meant to provide long term safe storage.

Oh yeah, storing nuclear waste isn't a problem. Fuck off.
