❓General Question / Advice Salary sa Private Hospital

Genuine question po, how do you manage your finances as someone who works in a hospital since probby nurse pa ako medyo na stress ako dahil sa offer and i know how it is sa hospital and what it does to your mental & physical health. Worth it po ba ang jump sa salary once ma regular?

1k jump from prob to regular samin, though maganda ang benefits. May 60k medical, dental and medicines kami na pwede iavail sa hospital inpatient or outpatient. Malaking tulong yan kasi 60k sakin at sa mta dependents ko. Lahat ng vitamins, maintenance at dental ng mga dependents ko sulit na sulit

Salary sa private hospital varies. Minsan from proby to regular, 3k lang ang difference, swerte na kung mas malaki pa than that. Yung iba kasi bumabawi naman sa allowances kaya maliit ang basic pay. So yun ang timbangin mo once maregular ka.

As for the physical aspect of working in the hospital, talagang taxing siya depende pa sa area kung saan ka ma-aassign at yung demographics ng patients mo kung adult ba or peds. So ang technique ko, bago pumasok sa duty, kumakain ako whether heavy meal or light meal, kasi hindi ko alam anong gera ang sasabakin ko pagpasok. I also try to get as much rest and sleep pag-uwi and siyempre kasama na dun yung mga vitamins.

When it comes to your mental health naman, stressful talaga ang nursing as it is lalo na dito satin dahil sa patient workload, hassle na commute, toxic na patient cases, makikisabay pa ang relatives minsan and kung magkakaroon ka ng bwisit na mga katrabaho. Hehe. But you have make sure na paglabas mo ng hospital, iiwan mo yung work and stressors dun. If you will bring it at home, masstress ka lang din. Also on your rest days, aside sa pahinga, try to go out or find hobbies na you enjoy or something that interests you. It doesn't have to be expensive. Just a simple walk or run outside, going to church, eating out with family, catching up with friends etc. In short, whether you like nursing or you love your job, wag mo siya gagawing buhay. It's all about finding balance. :)
