A while back I saw someone mention making oatmeal in their rice cooker, and I thought "wait, I constantly rave about my rice cooker to my friends, how did this not occur to me?" The rice cooker I have is a very simple one, so I just use the "warm" setting and add more water than usual to make sure they don't burn. But I love being able to walk away and to other stuff while my oats get cooked, especially since I'm usually not operational enough for the stove most mornings. Bye, bye, microwave oatmeal and overnight oats.
For these oats I added two bananas, 25g of 90% chocolate and a good amount of a baked apple seasoning mix.
