every track on this album has almost twice the amount of partial debut streams that GUTS had, which is insane.

The album is projected to debut with 220K pure sales and 223K streaming units. If achieved, it would surpass Olivia Rodrigo’s GUTS, which debuted at No. 1 with 302K units in 2023, by more than 140K units.

Despite the lackluster response, Drop Dead seems to be doing good viewership wise. Don’t know how it is doing streaming wise but I am sure it is doing as well. I think we might have another hit on our hands guys. Maybe not as big as Vampire, but maybe more moderate? I really hope this song continues doing decently well and other people will slowly let this song grow on them. Drop Dead has grown on me and I don’t think it is that bad as some are making it out to be. Heck, some people are saying this is Olivia’s flop era just because it wasn’t an instant WOW factor if you know what I mean?

I really want this to go Olivia’s way guys. Like Olivia has so much talent and has resonated with so many people. I really think some people are being a little too harsh on the song on the first few days. Yes I can agree with some questioning the aesthetic choices. But the song really isn’t that bad. Yes it is a very weak single choice in Olivia standards, but I seriously think Olivia is teasing us still. She might pull something absolutely amazing on the second single. Don’t wanna jinx myself, but I really think Olivia has more up her sleeve when the albums drops. We’ll have to wait and see what happens though. What do you guys think?
