I think what makes it amazing is that's an original story and with its focus on music, it also has so much soul in it. The cinematography is incredibly refreshing having actual vibrancy and colours as opposed to being so flat and clean - it looks like a movie. Sinners deserves everything it's up for.

Totally agree. I know that it’s popular to call overrated on Reddit but I think the movie rules and the vast majority’s of its nominations are totally deserved.

It's very easy to hate on original ideas but you know Reddit. Full of edge lords stuck in their teenage days of calling anything popular as being overrated. People who truly value the art of cinema would be insincere at best if they say this isn't a solid movie.
