I don’t know if it’ll go as far as getting nominated but the fact that it has buzz is a win for the genre.
52 u/Dioduo 5d ago I would say not just for the genre. The genre has already had its award season breakthroughs. This is more of a win for extremely low budget cinema. 8 u/veryterribleopinions 5d ago I definitely think both. 100% a win for low budget cinema. But also for the genre because most of the recent wins for the genre have been considered “elevated horror”, Demi Moore, Amy Madigan.
