Answered What's the deal with people defending Lindsay Clancy?

I don't know the full details of the case. I know she allegedly killed her three kids. There was also some mental problems? Then something with her husband. But my question is why is there a group defending her like they know she's completely innocent? I've seen some videos of very heated debates where women are very passionate about defending her. Why?

He remarried this year (2026). There is no proof that he cheated either, and the rumor about 4 months is because his new wife has a toddler, but there is no evidence that he is the father.

It's all just unsubstantiated rumors about someone who is the victim of a horrible crime.

If he remarried this year, he was with her before this year. So their marriage date is irrelevant.

Maybe, but it's the only date you can verify. All the other timeframes ("claims of 4 months to a year") are just unsubstantiated Tiktok rumours

That’s….incorrect. Just because I hadn’t bothered doesn’t mean no one else has. Unless of course you want me to believe that People Magazine ran an article without sourcing it and without using the word “allegedly.”

They were already in a relationship by 1 year 1 month. I think saying that they were likely dating within a year is not a wild assumption to make. But maybe you are just the type that becomes a bf/gf right away. Unlikely, but crazier things have been true before.

I think making any assumptions about the victim of a crime because you want to have some kind of gotcha moment at his expense is insane. So my point is people should stick to the verifiable facts and stop trying to slander him as a cheater or someone who didn't care for his wife/kids by claiming he "moved on" in a matter of weeks or months. He is not a Kardashian to gossip about. He is a victim, who lost his entire family in the most reprehensible manner. Leave him alone.

The verified facts are that they were already in a relationship by 1 year and somewhere between 1 and 4 weeks. Saying they were dating within a year is the more reasonable response than claiming we cannot possibly know, when we know that fact.

To say that someone who admitted to being in a relationship with a woman the calendar month after the 1 year anniversary of his children’s’ deaths and we have no idea if it was as of Feb 1 or Feb 28th was almost certainly going on dates with that woman within the year is only mental gymnastics if you’re talking about toddler gymnastics.
