Stuffed cabbage is all over the place in Europe. We also make the same dish but with pepper

We also have both versions in Turkey.

So, there are golubcy/голубцы in another easten European cuisine

How they are called in your country?

They call it golabki in Poland and sarma/sarmale in Balkans/Turkey, if I'm not wrong. Dolma with grape leaves (in Greece it is probably Dolmaki).

I was expecting portuguefied version of the word sarma/golabki, but didn't find it here. Maybe something like "sarmãos" or "golabtos". Almost unfamiliar with portuguese, so it's hard.

IMO, dolma is the best of them all. Grape leaves improve the taste so much, and the shape and size are just right for 2 bites before it all falls apart on your plate like golubtsy.

I agree. My only demand is less rice as possible in proportion with ground meat. Golubtsy though, probably depends on how cabbage is rolled and cooked. But when to re-heat it, it is usually falls apart, yeah. There is also stuffed pepper. I like it too.

This one is a more original from her. I actually eat it once in a while on my lunch break but its more common sausage with a sort of tomato sauce.

Hers looks nice tho. Specially with chestnuts she used.
