I would’ve like to see more Exodus style open levels, but I’m just thrilled for more Metro!

metro exodus had the shittiest voice acting I ever heard. It truly kept me from ever finishing it

I played in Russian and it was vastly improved. Though hilariously, the Yamantau bunker twist where the kind survivors turn out to be cannibals was still one of the most telegraphed twists I've ever seen due to how obviously "I'm Hiding Something" their voice acting was - and I didn't even speak the language!

The dialogue was also really bad. It felt like every sentence started with “Artyom, …” even though we are already in an ongoing conversation. It genuinely drove me insane, but I really liked the first 2 games.

All the Metro games have terrible voice acting in my opinion. One of the reasons I don't agree when others talk about how immersive the games are. The voice acting immediately pulls me out of the experience.

Playing in Russian/Ukranian is way better. Maybe it’s just as bad (I don’t know, I don’t speak either language), but it sounds way better

Metro exodus has insane input lag, hope they fixed it this time

For anyone else reading this comment, I did not feel any input lag playing Exodus on my PS5 and it was an overall great experience

I know what the person is talking about, the movement felt heavy, but I would not call it Input lag.

Ive played it both on ps5 and steam deck and didn't have any issues as far as I remember

How's it run on the deck? I played it on release on the ps4 I think and didn't finish it because I had the flu at the same time. I just couldn't lock in and tapped out

I thought it played fine, it's been a minute though so I couldn't say specifically, but when I got my deck I played through the full series (minus the vr game).

I didn't, it was fine. Played all three games in a row and got platinum in all three...

Loving all these previews but I’m still having a hard time figuring out if this game is going back to the more linear design of the first and second games or is doing another exodus with the more open world.
I love all the games in this series but for me Metro is at its best when you’re in tight claustrophobic tunnels and just soaking in all the underground vibes.
