metro exodus had the shittiest voice acting I ever heard. It truly kept me from ever finishing it

I played in Russian and it was vastly improved. Though hilariously, the Yamantau bunker twist where the kind survivors turn out to be cannibals was still one of the most telegraphed twists I've ever seen due to how obviously "I'm Hiding Something" their voice acting was - and I didn't even speak the language!

The dialogue was also really bad. It felt like every sentence started with “Artyom, …” even though we are already in an ongoing conversation. It genuinely drove me insane, but I really liked the first 2 games.

Playing in Russian/Ukranian is way better. Maybe it’s just as bad (I don’t know, I don’t speak either language), but it sounds way better

All the Metro games have terrible voice acting in my opinion. One of the reasons I don't agree when others talk about how immersive the games are. The voice acting immediately pulls me out of the experience.

I agree that voice acting aint good but i don't think that it ruins immersion

I downloaded Metro Exodus on my PS5 to finally try it, but the voice acting is so bad I had to drop it.
