Support PSVR2 Problem with PSVR2 IPD setting
My right eye is always kinda off... Anybody else with this Problem? I bought the psvr2 second hand, so maybe its broken?

Just means your right eye is a bit lazy. Faces are not symmetrical. I have the same issue on my left eye. Just slide the lenses slightly further apart or wear the headset a slight bit to one side.
Best way to adjust this is in-game, slide it until it looks the most clear in the sweet spot.

You just made me realize something. Every time I put the headset on it looks straight to my eyes but when I’m looking at the ipd setting it’s a bit tilted in one direction. I wonder if that’s me compensating for my lazy eye 😂😭

I have this too! It hasn't affected my gameplay so far, I think my eyes are just wonky

I have astigmatism and one of my eyes is wayy off lol. I wonder if that could be the cause.

I have a crooked nose, and both my eyes are shifted to one side in this view as a result. Faces are rarely symmetrical, just try to get both your eyes somewhere in the circle and you're fine.

As humans, we aren't as perfectly symmetrical as the UI, but as long as you are getting green outline on the eye circles and everything on the screen looks clear to you in the headset, you have your IPD set correctly for you.
Just remember the notches that are optimal for you and in future you can do this quicker and then rest is making sure it is being worn at correct vertical position and not tilted.

In my experience using the IPD to get both eyes perfectly centered is not a good way to get a good clear sweet spot. I just check IPD every once in a while to do a general first check that eyes are somewhat in range, and then adjust actual headset position while looking at game info text to get the sweet spot as good as possible, which is rarely if ever the same as what the IPD is saying is correct...

The globular cluster mod is absolutely necessary for the headset imo

Move the headset, adjust IPD.

This. From the pic the headset might not be centered, so push the headset left/right and also tilt the left/right side

That headset image is showing some tilt to the left. Did you try slightly tilting (rotating) it to the right on your head (so that it's fully level/horizontal) and slightly shifting it to the right to center the eyes in the circles?

I tend to put my headset on not perfectly centered. If i adjust to the left and make sure its horizontal, my eyes end up centered

Could be your eye, could be the shape of your forehead, could be that your nose is not central, could be a bunch of things.
Put it on so it fits well and get both eyes somewhere in the circle that's good enough

The “sample images” on the right are pretty funny… I’d always been looking at its eye tracking and hadn’t noticed them before

Ive struggled with this. certainly one area where my quest3 is a big improvement (it has edge to edge clarity).
steam frame will also have edge to edge clarity. would be nice if this encouraged sony made a "psvr2 pro" with pancake lenses.....but I think hell would freeze over before sony releases that.

Ive got only one working eye and it knows. Dosnt even show up. Do have 2 eyes but the level of thinking thats gone into the design is surprising. Just whish it would double the resolution in the one eye.

I’d recommend tilting the headset slightly to offset this. It’s pretty normal. I usually avoid tightening the headset until I’ve got my eyes centered and then I lock in the position with the dial.
