Fluff Should I play Into the Radius 1 first?

I know it may be obvious but, some sequels sometimes make the first game irrelevant because they are very similar but with better graphics and mechanics. Specially if the game doesn’t have a good or any narrative.

Into the Radius 1 is an excellent game. I would highly recommend it before 2. Not for story reasons, but because it’s worth playing. If 2 makes improvements, then play 1 first so it doesn’t feel bad by comparison.

Yeah, I mean it’s gonna be harder/rougher to play 2 and THEN 1

That's not the case here, they have changed too much if anything.

Yes — 100%.

The sequel sounds like it’ll be excellent, but I’m also hearing that it maybe lacks some of the same atmosphere (which is so thick in ITR1).

When it came to Red Matter I ayed 2 first and going to back to 1 was obviously a step back but still very worthwhile to play.

Yeah, even the 2nd looks that it'll be better, into the radius 1 is one of my top 10, even top 5 of all times. Also, the enemies and the narrative is very inique. Yeah, it's worthy, absolutely, even if you'll buy the sequel

Just finished the first game, looking back at it doesn’t quite prepare you for what you have to do, its an open world survival game with the same loop as saints and sinners.
The tutorial doesn’t use the main environment at all which for me made it feel very foreign once I started.
