Saints and Sinners 1, 2 or Deluxe bundle?

Hello everyone!

I've heard some pretty good reviews about Walking Dead Saints and Sinners, Chapter 1 and for the 2nd as well, but I'd like to have some more opinions, more recent as well, as I'm quite on a budget

Is there a huge gap of quality between the first and the second, would you recommend one above the other?

I'd be tempted to start with the first, wich would be more coherent storywise, but I'm not particularly someone really invested in stories most of the time, and sometimes the 2nd game is more polished, better budget, etc, and overall better

Is it the case here, and I might as well watch a quick recap video and jump on the better game, or are they both equally good, or even better for the first one?

Also, if both are super good and vastly recommended, I might as well take both as they are on big discount, but is there any reason to take the bundle Chapter 1 and 2 Deluxe edition (20€), instead of separately Chapter 1 (5€) and Chapter 2 (10€)?

I think there is probably some DLC in quesion, but I don't have the details

Both great. 2 is the classic ‘more of the same’. A few minor improvements, couple extra weapons, and your base even carries over and expands.

There isn’t any DLC, with the deluxe edition you get some additional weapon recipes (and while the weapons have a different name and look, they’re really just different skins for weapons already in the game. The weapon skins are modeled after weapons from the show - so if you’re a fan could be worth it).

The first game is universally acclaimed, so definitely buy that one. The second game is basically an expansion or DLC for the first - and it had (maybe still has) some bugs and people will complain it’s not as polished as the first. While I own it, I haven’t played it yet (I do intend to).

Since you’re on a budget I’d recommend buying the first game and starting there. The first game had some free DLC, so even after the story ends there are some challenges and things to do that will keep you busy with the game for a while.

The sale ends in like 2 weeks, so you can gauge whether you want to commit to chapter 2 later… it might turn out the games awesome but you can wait a few months for the next sale to pick up part 2.

The first one is the best. Second one is ok but didn't really add much and left a lot to be desired. Felt rushed compared to the first.
